December 15th, 2009 — A Lens a Day
…reorganize my priorities, get my duckies in a row, and all that good stuff. 
Although I do have 3 more quick lenses to add to my nanolemo lens-a-day collection, I’m going to have to slow it down some. I might try to squeeze in a couple more before my self-appointed deadline of Christmas Eve, but with company coming for Christmas and out-of-town guests coming the first week of January it looks like I’m going to have to put more time in on the home front and leave most of the lensmaking for next year.
It was a fun challenge, albeit a stupid time of year for me to attempt it, but fun none-the-less.

So, all in all, I’ve got 22 new lenses and one new commercial blog to play with for my efforts.
Stats
I’ve got 2 lenses getting 3 digit visits, 5 lenses getting 2 digit weekly visits, and from the looks of it, 5 stinkers who are getting zero weekly visits. I’ll tweak the successes after the holidays and probably leave the others to die a slow agonizing death at the bottom of my dashboard.
Traffic at the blog is only ranging from 2 to 11 hits per day so far but I have hope.
December 10th, 2009 — A Lens a Day
I’ve been negligent in posting here but I’ve been busy working on my “a lens a day” lenses.
I made 3 more quick t-shirt lenses.
Farkle T-Shirts and Gifts and Island Paradise T-Shirts and Gift Ideas to go with my other Facebook games t-shirt lenses.
And Mother of the Groom T-Shirts to go with my Mother/Son Dance songs which is one of those lenses that gets mad traffic but makes very little in the sales department.
So those cover today, yesterday, and the day before that.
As far as stats go, I’ve made 20 lenses so far. Take away the Giant Squid Awards lens, which would really skew the numbers unfairly if I leave it in, and I’ve had 279 hits in the last week on 19 brand new lenses.
Not great but it isn’t horrible either. I’ll keep at it!

December 6th, 2009 — A Lens a Day
Yes, I know my Pirate speak is bad. I’ll refrain from using it in the future.
Anyway, yesterday I failed to post my lens a day but I did make one.
Pirate T Shirts and Gifts contains gifts and t-shirts from the popular online Pirates game by Zynga.
I also started a new blog (I know,I should be ashamed of myself since I didn’t even finish redesigning this one yet!) The new one is to showcase my new T-Shirt niche. It’s called Grab a Tee: cool, cute, fun, and funny t-shirts
I decided to do it because… YES, I’m in it for the booty.
So I think that covers me for today even though it’s not technically a lens, for someone as technically un-inclined as I am, it was a lot of work.

I’m not sure if I need something like this or not.
I don’t totally understand all the new FTC rules for affiliate marketing.
I figured this might come in handy just in case and so I made it:

Yeah, so it’s been raining here.
Well… we had a hell of a storm yesterday anyway, and that’s what inspired today’s “a lens a day” contribution.
I started thinking about people who end up with rainy wedding days, or other rainy occasions where they still have to look good.

December 2nd, 2009 — A Lens a Day
Flipper discs are so new they haven’t even been released yet!
Flipper discs will allow owners to view movies on either a blu-ray or regular dvd player simply by flipping their flipper disc movie.
Sounds good to me but some of the tech bloggers are predicting failure for these new discs.
For today’s “lens a day” I’ve created a lens where people can learn about and predict the future of the new flipper disc.

If you love Trader Joe’s, you’ll enjoy today’s “Lens a day” addition.
Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite places to shop for groceries. They have great prices and good quality products, food, and merchandise.
Their reusable shopping totes are the best!
Anyway, by creating this lens, I finally got around to reusing the Trader’s Joe’s links I found when we were doing the BIP project.

November 30th, 2009 — A Lens a Day
Today’s “a lens a day” lens is a lensography I made of May Celebration lenses created by some of the members of the Giant Squid Challenge Ning for our FlashForward May project.
The idea is to create lenses 6 months before their “due” date to give them time to simmer, get properly promoted and grab some backlink love to give them full potential to be highly successful next May .
It’s also an invitation to YOU to add your May Holiday, May Festival, or May Celebration inspired lenses to the plexo on the lens.

What a surprise! Today I’m adding another quick shopping lens to my “a lens a day” collection. This one is called
Farmville T Shirts and Gifts.
I think everyone I know is playing this virtual farming game on Facebook right now.
I have to admit, I was addicted to it for a while but if you were to visit my farm right now I’d be embarrassed. No crops and a whole bunch of animals and trees growing in clumps. Anyway, I created this lens to honor all of my friends who prefer virtual farming over the real thing!
It sure is easier! But I think I’d miss my fresh figs and veggies.
